TransVoyant-developed Depot Total Asset Visibility System enables material handlers and depot planners to better manage assets and optimize workflow planning

Anniston, AL – For the past nine years, TransVoyant has provided Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) with a consolidated program management and technology solution that identifies, locates and tracks parts generated by the disassembly and reassembly process – providing production control and material inventory identification. Today it was announced that the United States Army has renewed this contract, and TransVoyant will continue to provide engineering and support services for the Depot Total Asset Visibility System (DTAVS).

“DTAVS is critical to day-to-day production operations at Anniston Army Depot and is vital to the planning, moving and tracking of reclaimed parts,” said Program Manager Shelena Cofield. “A customized web-based solution, DTAVS continues to accommodate changes to the evolving ANAD business processes and systems, including expansion for the Logistics Modernization Program. DTAVS has increased production control and operations support plans, reduced production costs and risks associated with material outages, and improved the management and distribution of material.”

Additionally, DTAVS is DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) compliant, a process that means to ensure that companies apply risk management to information systems by assessing, assuring and protecting enterprise software and applications from security vulnerabilities. This compliance plays a vital role in the future of DTAVS at ANAD, as TransVoyant continues to provide Anniston Army Depot with greater operational insights in a secure method in preparation for an increase of the Army’s Logistics Modernization Program.
