Fundraising initiative The Community’s Got Talent 2013, led by KippsDeSanto & Co. and supported by TransVoyant, raises much needed funding for the families of national heroes.

Alexandria, VA—TransVoyant today announced the results of its matching campaign for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) and the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation (CIAOMF).

“TransVoyant is proud to announce that, through our support of The Community’s Got Talent 2013 event produced by KippsDeSanto & Co., we have contributed $25,000 to the SOWF and CIAOMF. Our contribution to these tremendously important organizations has been made possible because of our partnership with our great employees, customers and friends,” said Dennis Groseclose, Co-Founder and President of TransVoyant.

Created in 1980, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation is devoted to providing a college education to every child who has lost a parent while serving for the U.S. Special Operations Command. This includes over 70,000 military special operations and support personnel assigned to units throughout the United States and around the world. Most recently, when the government shutdown halted the military death benefit, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation stepped up to help the families of fallen special operators.

The CIA Officers Memorial Foundation was created in 2001 by a group of concerned Americans who wished to assist the survivors and dependents of CIA officers who perished in the line of duty. The foundation currently provides education support to the children and spouses of fallen CIA officers.

“We thank TransVoyant for their fundraising efforts and continued support as well as the individuals and companies who have made contributions towards this matching campaign,” said Bob Kipps, Managing Director of KippsDeSanto & Co. “This amount will go far in fulfilling the missions of these foundations – supporting the families of military and special operations forces and fallen Central Intelligence Agency Officers.”

UPDATE: Thank you to our partners and friends who joined the TransVoyant matching campaign. The total raised was over $250,000 for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation! We are grateful to you all!
